This urban spider has created its web in the form of a Gregory’s map of part of Sydney… Rozelle, which is the first place I lived when I arrived in Australia in 1973.
Created with silver paint, the web stands out against its French ultramarine blue background particularly in low or angled light. I continued the strands onto the mount backing. The spider’s legs are rendered in gold paint.
